We frequently test our product for quality by eating it ourselves and we usually look forward to those days, but we are not rated by the Health Department for human consumption so we DO NOT recommend eating it. We are inspected by the PA Department of Agriculture.
Yes, your cat can eat Puppy Cake products, but they may not like the taste. Please be mindful of proportions.
Puppy Cake will not make your dog fat when fed properly. When feeding, cut back on their dog food for that day or take them for an extra walk (they’ll especially love that!).
Puppy Cake is highly digestible and rarely has digestive issues for even sensitive stomachs, but always read ingredients and make sure your dog does not have any food allergies to the ingredients.
We offer a wheat-free Peanut Butter cake mix, Pumpkin cake mix and Red Velvet cake mix made with rice flour.
Please be considerate of the size of your dog in relation to the portion you give them. NOTE: A small dog should NEVER be fed the entire cake!
Each box makes at least 8 cupcakes, 24 mini cupcakes, or a 6" round cake.
Puppy Cake has a 1 year shelf life before it is baked. After it is baked, cover and refrigerate for up to 5 days. They will last for several months in the freezer.
Follow the instructions on each box: add 1 egg, oil and water, mix then bake at 350 degrees for about 20-25 minutes. After the cake is completely cooled, add water to the icing and top cakes.
We recommend a 6” round cake pan, but you can also use an 8” round cake pan or an 8×8 casserole dish. NOTE: If using anything larger than a 6” cake pan, the cake may come out thin.
Very well! Please be sure to use a microwave-safe dish. For satisfactory results, we suggest a high-powered microwave, i.e. 1500 watts.
Icing is provided in each cake box.
Carefully add additional drops of water at a time to create the desired thickness.
Add 1 tablespoon of peanut butter to the icing and stir. If desired thickness is not achieved, carefully add 1 more tablespoon of peanut butter. NOTE: The color of the icing will no longer be white.
Store in an airtight container in a the refrigerator for 5 days, or freeze for up to 2 months.
